This is my family's go-to burger joint. The service is great and you always feel welcome. The burgers have a great flavor are a good size and the toppings are always fresh. We also like to round our meal out with a basket of sweet tots. I have never been disappointed in this place and I never leave hungry... but I always wish I could eat more!

Coming from New Jersey and moving here to Charlottesville, I been craving a smash burger and boy oh boy Martin's Grill deliver. It is the closest place that makes me remind me of home, and it is SO delicious! The best part, the price. It is extremely cheap, and the meat patties taste so fresh. It is my definite togo place. The tots are just the normal basic tots which is fine, the real star is the burger which makes me melt with every bite!

Excellent place for the carnivore in you! You can get fresh made burgers customized the way you want it. I enjoyed my Quad Burger with Cheese & Grilled Onions and a side of Jalapeño Cheese Balls! They even offer Fresh cut and made Side, Garden & Chef Salads with or without protein added! Great food and portions with a hard working crew to make for a great foodie experience ! Highly recommend !

Visiting Charlottesville from out of town, and stumbled across this hidden gem! I had the Philly cheesesteak, and my friend had a double cheeseburger. We both agreed it was delicious, and the service was incredibly fast! We were in and out in under a half-hour (during lunchtime on a weekday).

I had the burger sub this time, and it is a large sandwich with lots of delicious fries. It's definitely one of the most tasty hamburgers I have eaten. It's a pretty no frills restaurant, but the service was good. The prices are reasonable, and I had zero issues.

Just ate here for the first time tonight (2/2/25.) They did not disappoint! The food was incredible, and prices are even better. A basket of fries comes with more than enough for two people. I will definitely be back soon!

Really good burgers made custom (you choose what you want on it). You can see the meat is quality and not preformed frozen patties. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We tried the'Tot-chos' (tater tots served like nachos) which was on special. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Our only disappointment was they were out of cheesecake.

How do they make the burgers so good?! I didn’t get photos because I was so hungry haha but oh man, this was an excellent meal. We got cheeseburgers and fries and a side of coleslaw, on our way home from hiking in Shenandoah. I stopped here a couple of years ago with my mom and remembered the burger was awesome so I wanted to visit again since we were nearby. It was absolutely packed that day but this time was pretty quiet and calm, which honestly was weird to me for a Sunday and considering how good the food is. I will definitely stop here when I’m in the area from now on. It really hit the spot, especially after hiking for hours! Edit: stopped again today, a week later, haha even more amazing than last time and I got a photo. Seriously good burgers!
